What a great concert at the Franklin Park Railroad Daze. Dickey Betts was spectacular. What a great guitarist, great band. They had a little problem with some equipment in the beginning but it didn't seem to bother them as they played right on through. They also played for over 2 hours which I thought was something special. They really rocked the house with their multiple guitarists. I was never a big fan of the Almond Brothers, but this is one guy you should definitely see if he comes to your area, you won't be disappointed.

About the festival. The weather was absolutely horrible. It rained and turned cold. Fortunatley the band was under a tent so it didn't make a difference for the concert. Unfortuatley the tent was about as big as a small back yard as a result many people had to stand out in the rain to enjoy this great performance. Also you really couldn't see if you were outside the tent. The food offerings very limited and unappealing. All in all, the festival itself would be a "No Go" but the performance was a "Big Thumbs Up" even in the bad conditions.
