The 43rd Annual SIERRA NEVADA ARTS & CRAFTS FESTIVAL will be held July 4 & 5 - over Independence Day weekend in the beautiful mountain resort town of Arnold on Highway 4 (Ebbetts Pass.) Situated amongst the pines and redwoods at the 4000' elevation, the Festival features over 65 booths of fine crafts, art, and gourmet foods to sample - all made by the artists themselves. The annual Ebbetts Pass Independence Day Parade will begin at 10am on Saturday and it runs adjacent to the Festival. The Ebbett's Pass Lion's Club serves an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 7:30am - 11am both days. Continuous shows of live country/swing music by the 'Stardust Cowboys' from Sacramento and famous juggler Mark 'Bonzai' Bunnell from San Francisco will perform both days. There's also face painting for the kids - and adult kids! The Ebbett's Pass Volunteer Fire Dptm. serves local Calaveras County beers, and a variety of home-made food booths, kettlekorn, and baked goodies round out the fun
